righteousness by the obedience of One
Good mornin to you my friend. Recently I had a discussion with my friend Vladimir online, and the discussion gravitated toward the subject of not fitting in with institutional religion. And Vladimir made some excellent points that are worth sharing for the benefit of anyone else who also doesn’t find any meaningful fellowship in institutional religion. So here’s his thoughts about the matter:

The high percentage of narcissists in Christian leadership and ministry (1 in 3 being higher than the average for politicians) is a symptom, not a cause of the disease. Narcissists simply go to churches to meet their needs, which is contant admiration from sheepish victims, with no accountabiility for the abuse done to them. If Christians didn’t worship men in authority, narcissists would simply move on elsewhere. That’s the nature of that mental illness.
Notice how the same abuses…

He sure did brother! It did my heart good reading this. I too am without a church to attend. I watch online church services though..but it’s not the same. Not exactly the on hands fellowship. My situation is due to being disabled and not being able to sit in the seats for very long. And I’m facing surgeries soon. But the online fellowship has been a blessing. So this post really hit home with me 🙂

You know something Geno, I’ve found that the more you understand & embrace about the Grace of God, your options in organized-religious fellowship that are pallettable become increasingly fewer.
I’ve been looking for a church since 2012, and yet I’m surrounded by them.
You see the scriptural content that I routinely post, (because I’m so excited about it)…and no where is that sort of content accepted (or even truly understood) in the religious establishments around me.
Like you buddy, I’d love to have a real hands on assembly to call home, but my searches too come up empty.
I’ve even posted advertisements for home church/outdoor church in local Facebook groups in my area, and no one has shown any interest.
It is what it is,
Even if you didn’t have your disability, there’s still a high possibility that you’d be in the same situation as myself in not being able to find a true king James free Grace church.
One of the things that Vladimir said that really hit home with me was the lack of fellowship at institutional church.
I have never been successful since 2012 when God saved me for real by His free Grace to find fellowship outside of the building with church people.
I have gone to countless Sunday school meetings, met people, etc, and expressed my zeal to fellowship with them over scripture throughout the week…and people won’t give me the time of day after everyone has gone home…but inside the building it’s all smiles and hey brother.
I’m sorry for sounding bitter about the whole experience, but that’s pretty much a summation of what most of my church home/live fellowship search has been like.
I’ll pray for you and your daughter right now Geno.
God bless you and your family.

You’re exactly right. You just don’t see many King James free grace churches. I’ve found a couple..but online. And several groups online. But to look local and/or around the corner..you don’t find them. Every other flavor under the sun though. The church in biblical times was kind of an underground gathering. That’s kind of the way I see the online thing a little, as far as free grace belief. We are the few.. preaching and teaching the true Gospel. The mystery so many are still blind too today. I was. Not anymore thanks to God revealing it to me. How amazing is that?!! I give Him all the praise! And I’m so thankful. I’m still praying for you Lee. And your family also. I pray you get over this stuff soon. God bless you brother. And thank you for your prayers.
